Thank you Mac for sharing your transitioning story with us. We all have dealt with post-military life obstacles. They affect everybody, regardless of rank and time in service. We try to hold onto this identity from the military that shows no emotion, connection, nor empathy; having us believe this is who we are. But unfortunately that’s not who we want to be anymore. We are all human (or how I like to say Hoooo-man). We can’t keep living this life. We must understand in order to progress forward in life we must find out “who we are” and “why am I here.” Once we established that, we can begin to better ourselves and find our new purpose and identity in the process.
